Christopher Pincher Calls on Jobseekers to Come to Jobs Fair

Tamworth’s MP, Christopher Pincher, this week is calling on local job seekers to visit his Jobs Fair which takes place on Saturday 12th October at South Staffordshire College campus in Croft Street.

The Fair will run between 10am and 2pm and will host a variety of local and national employers keen to recruit Tamworth’s talent.  Companies attending include National Express, John Lewis, UPS and London Midland.

Mr Pincher said, “This Jobs Fair is just another way of advertising the many jobs that are appearing in and around Tamworth and linking up employers with keen job seekers.

“The Fair is not aimed at any particular age group or skill set so everyone looking for a job in Tamworth is welcome to attend and I encourage as many people as possible to do so.  It is free, gives people the chance to polish up their interview skills and provides more information about the sorts of jobs that are available.

“I also hope the our local Job Clubs, that Councillor Lee Bates and others have done so much to promote, will encourage their members to drop in too.”
