Website Shows Christopher Pincher as among most ‘cost effective’ MPs
The company, Key Business Insight’s new “Commons Performance Cockpit” tool (http://www.keybusinessinsight.com/MPCompare.aspx) shows Christopher Pincher, Member of Parliament for Tamworth, as among the most cost effective MPs in the entire House of Commons. The Commons Performance Cockpit tool compares an MP’s total cost, including expenses, office, salary, staffing, etc., against their voting record in the Commons, resulting in a “cost per vote” amount.
Christopher Pincher ranks 16th out of 650 for most cost effective MPs with an average cost per vote in the House of Commons of £267, making him among the most efficient in the House.
Commenting, Mr. Pincher said:
“I am very pleased that the performance cockpit has ranked me so highly. The website is a bit of fun and some of the valuations are pretty subjective, but it is nice to see I seem to be doing ok!”
